Great Divide Barrel Aged Yeti and Old Ruffian arrive in two weeks

[9/22 Update: Still no sightings as of yesterday. Maybe this week. Keep an eye on the boards.]

(Denver, CO) - No wonder that when I revealed the label approvals for these beers back in March, I couldn’t get much info at the time. The beers had only aged for fourteen months with six left to go. Thanks to Nick Castiglione of Liquor Max Warehouse, we now know that an extremely limited run of Great Divide Yeti Imperial Stout and Old Ruffian aged in Stranahan’s Whiskey Barrels, rumored to be at 1,000 bottles each, will begin to arrive in stores around the third week of September. We have not confirmed yet whether this will be a Colorado-only release though that seems likely given the bottle count. Check our Beer Buying page in a couple weeks to see where you can order it.
