Dark Lord Day goes viral

(Munster, IN) – Ever heard of a viral video? Per Wikipedia, a viral video “gains widespread popularity through the process of Internet sharing. Three Floyds Brewing’s new video posted online today may not achieve mainstream stardom but it gives those who have not been to the event a close look at what they are missing. The video, hosted at DarkLordDay.com, showcases last year’s beer release festival. [ed: If it is taking a while to load, visit the link].

I have had Dark Lord once before, courtesy of a good man who we will call, “George,” The bottom of the glass was caked with sludge. I just can’t imagine how many pounds of ingredients go into this recipe.

How many people made it to the fest last year and what are the predictions for this year’s turnout? Do they count the folks that just visit the tasting tables?

This year’s event takes place on Saturday, April 25, though bottles are already accounted for with the new ticketing system.

  1. I’ve had it. It’s good, but not worth the hype. Kate the Great on the other hand is definitely worth the hype and much better than Dark Lord.
