The Bruery to release Hottenroth and Mischief in bottles
(Placentia, CA) – Word from Patrick Rue is that The Bruery is going to release two more beers this summer.
The Bruery Mischief
is a “Belgian-style Golden Strong Ale brewed with wheat” should debut in August. And after being draft-only for quite some time, Hottenroth Berliner Weiss should finally make its way to bottles in late July.
Both beers will have limited availability year-round (reminds me of Sierra Nevada Torpedo, a year-round beer I’m dying to see on shelves again). Rue emphasized that they plan on heavy production for the two brews over the couple years assuming the demand is there.
With Hottenroth having been available on tap previously, there is a write-up of it on the brewery’s website: “Brewed in memory of my Grandparents (Fred and Sarah Hottenroth), this tart German-style Berliner Weisse is as authentic as it gets. We used lactobacillus and a hint of brettanomyces to sour this very unusual, low gravity wheat beer. To cut the tartness for those with sweeter tastes, raspberry or woodruff syrup is a traditional way to sweeten the beer.” Though the beer is in line with the sour surge, the fact that it is only 3.1% ABV is directly opposite of where all things craft beer have been trending.
As for Mischief, “It’s 8.5% ABV, should be pretty crisp with a nice herbal / floral hoppiness coming from late addition Saaz,” according to Rue.

Bien por reebok. Esta gente entendio la diferencia entre la necesidad de tener o usar tales o cuales zapatillas y el placer que genera personalizar un objeto de deseo.
