Harpoon Brewery UFO Pale Ale returns after decade-long hiatus

harpoon-ufo-pale-ale(Boston, MA) – From Harpoon Brewery’s latest Facebook note: “On September 9th, 2009 the intrepid brewers at Harpoon set out on a brave and noble mission to bring back UFO Pale Ale. First brewed back in 1999 and always remembered fondly, we’ve decided to bring it back for good as UFO’s newest seasonal beer (available from September through March).”

The brewery is holding a premiere party to launch the beer officially on October 1st. That said, the Facebook page says that it is already available so look for it in stores.

Report: Boulevard Harvest Dance Wheat Wine coming in November

boulevard-harvest-dance(Kansas City, MO) – According to The Wine and Cheese Place, Boulevard Brewing is staying true to its word in releasing a fall Smokestack Series beer in line with its traditional fall seasonal. With Bob’s 47 Oktoberfest hitting the streets recently, the brewery has announced its next Smokestack beer: Boulevard Harvest Dance Wheat Wine. TWCP’s Paul Hayden says that the beer will arrive in stores this coming November which should coincide with the release of Nutcracker Ale.
