Firestone Walker Parabola, Solace coming to bottles in 2010

[12/29 Update: Firestone Walker Abacus will be bottled for December release according to a brewery rep. Seems really close to FW 14 timing so I doubt that is set in stone]

(Paso Robles, CA) – More big news out of California today. Those who can’t wait until next November for Firestone Walker 14 won’t have to in a way. The main component in the Quercus Alba Series two years running, Parabola Imperial Stout, will finally hit distribution in May. The brewery also announced today that it will debut Solace Unfiltered Ale in bottles this March.

According to Marketing Manager, Jamie Smith, Solace will be a “lighter offering,” initially available only in California though it will roll out into other markets after that. Six packs and draft to start. Look for packaging images and a press release to come early next year.

Parabola will be shipped in 22oz bottles with an expected 1000 case limited release. Distribution will be to California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona and Nevada. Parabola, which has only been featured at events like FOBAB and the Holiday Ale Festival up until now, is the brewery’s highest-rated un-blended offering on RateBeer.

Double Jack IPA will be back in June though only on draft.
