Full Sail Brewmaster Reserve 2010 lineup
(Hood River, OR) – Full Sail Brewing has announced its upcoming 2010 lineup. Here are the changes taking place to the Brewmaster Reserve Series:
HOP PURSUIT EXTRA PALE replaces Keelhauler Scottish Ale
Available Mid March to June in 22oz Bottles and Draught
A crisp blonde extra pale ale with a medium malt body. The malts are chased by a ton of hop flavor and a zing of bitterness.
ABV 6% IBUs: 55
SPOTLESS IPA replaces Grandsun of Spot IPA
Available June to September in 22oz Bottles and Draught
Continuing our summer sun series, Spotless is named to honor our sun that has been spotless for over a year. This aggressive IPA has a rich golden color with a fruity finish. The beer is well hopped to 70 with Willamette and Zeus hops lending the beer a bright bitterness and a rich hop flavor.
ABV 6.5% IBUs: 70
SANCTUARY BELGIAN STYLE DUBBEL replaces Vesuvius Belgian-style Golden Ale
Available Mid August to November in 22oz Bottles and Draught
Rich malt aromas fill the nose. Flavors of biscuit and roast are rounded by a rich sweet malt character. This Dubbel is lightly hopped and finishes with Belgian yeast spice notes and a chewy finish.
ABV 7% and IBUs: 20

Unsurprisingly, the brewery is bringing back the LTD beers according to its latest newsletter:
“Our easy-drinking albeit way tasty LTD Recipe 01 is rocking the fermentation tank as this very moment. We predict LTD 01 will be hitting the shelves in early January, maybe sooner.
LTD 01 is part of our seasonal line that emphasizes our brand mantra – both the world class quality of our beers (LTD – Limited Edition) and our celebration of independence (LTD – Live the Dream). We dedicate LTD to everyone who’s living the dream, whatever that dream might be. Our dream was to start our own brewery, run it our own way, and do it in an unreal place where all summer the wind pumps and all winter the snow dumps. If you’re living your own dream, then cheers to you!
Since its initial release, LTD 01 has racked up three gold medals from the World Beer Championships and received an “A” rating from Beer Advocate Magazine. If you haven’t already tried it, it’s a wonderfully balanced medium-bodied, copper colored lager with subtle hop accents and a caramel aroma that goes down smooth – perfect for the winter season.
You can pick up a sixer at your favorite beer store or get it on tap at your local pub until spring when we will follow up with LTD 02 and LTD 03 will be back this summer.”

Along with LTD 01, the brewery will once again start off the new year with Slipknot Imperial IPA:
“We will kick off our 2010 Brewmaster Reserve line up with delightfully hoppy Slipknot Imperial IPA. This annual favorite and World Beer Championship gold medal winner will be available January to mid March. As the name implies, every aspect of this American style IPA is amplified – from the up-front hop aroma and bitterness to the big malt body. ABV: 7.8% IBUs: 80
Slipknot is part of our rotating selection of Brewmaster Reserve Beers. Every ten weeks we come out with a different beer that show cases the brewer’s art. We began the program back in 1998 as a way of celebrating our independence and creativity.
Slipknot will be available in 22oz bottles and on draught in specialty beer stores and pubs throughout the Pacific Northwest. In March, we will follow-up Slipknot with Full Sail Imperial Stout and Top Sail Bourbon Imperial Porter.”

What kind of length are we looking at (matron)?
The footage shown so far looks very action-oriented, but they keep saying it’s almost Zelda-like. What’s on offer besides the action? And why aren’t we seeing some of that too?

1. Are there any other melee weapons besides the sword?
2. If there are other melee weapons is there swift(meaning press a single button once) weapon switching while playing the game?
3. Are there other projectile weapons besides the gun?
4. If there are other projectile weapons besides the gun, is there swift(meaning press a single button once) weapon switching while playing the game.
5. Are there counter attacks? More specifically, if you time a certain action to occur just at the moment an npc strikes, will the player do a unique move that puts him at an advantage to follow up with a sequence of strikes?
6. How many levels of upgrades to the character and his weapons have?
7. Can low level NPCs be dismembered without a quick time event?
8. Are there ways to reflect projectiles NPCs shoot towards you back to the NPC that shot the projectile or other NPCs nearby?
9. Can the character disarm NPCs that have weapons and use those weapons?
10. Is there any vertical or horizontal wall running?
11. What abilities does the horse have other than being a conveyance?
12. Does the main character get any other companions besides the horse?
13. Wouldn’t this game have better sales prospects if it was released from April-August 2009 so it didn’t have to compete with Bayonetta, Dante’s Inferno, or God Of War 3? This game looks good and looks like a worthy purchase, but there’s a version of Bayonetta that got a perfect score from Famitsu and the notoriously hard to impress Edge magazine. It seems to me that this good looking game would have even better sales prospects if it had less fierce competition.
