Half Acre Big Hugs Imperial Stout debuts
(Chicago, IL) – From Half Acre Beer Co.’s latest blog post:
“Big Hugs, the imperial stout that we’ve been working on is officially tapped in our brewery store. I have to say that we’re really pumped about this beer. We took an interesting approach to making it and collaborated with Dark Matter Coffee to do a very low volume coffee extraction. The result isn’t a total coffee beer, but a 9.5% brute of a stout with fully-flexed flavor that rounds out the spectrum nicely. Stop by and grab a growler to take home and enjoy.”
Growlers are $17 and bombers will be available after Christmas for $11.
This beer follows Magnus Schwartz Beer which was released in October.
By the way, the label art is great. That cat is wreaking some serious havoc on the city…
