Upland Brewing kicks off new bomber line with Winter Warmer

(Bloomington, IN) – The TTB approved Upland Brewing’s first bomber label this week. From a newsletter this fall, “It’s almost winter, and this time you’ll be able to get warmer than ever. Upland Winter Warmer will be available beginning early December in 12 oz. bottles, draught, and for the first time ever, 22 oz bombers!

It is to be the first many high-gravity beers in Upland’s new bomber line, which will include Double Dragonfly IPA, Ard Ri Imperial Red Ale, and more to be announced.

Upland Winter Warmer is a barleywine with a very dark color achieved through a long boil.The finest British and American malts are used to create a large malt character. Rich fruit flavors and aromas are balanced by a hoppy taste and lingering finish. This big beer took home a silver medal in the 2008 World Beer Cup “Old Ale” Category.

ABV: 9.0% IBUs: 46.7 Starting Gravity: 20.4″
