Backstage at Beer Wars Live

It appears that Greg Koch of Stone Brewing just uploaded this video yesterday. This was filmed back in mid-April of last year on location at UCLA for the Beer Wars Live screening. For anyone intrigued by the celebrities of our craft beer culture, you will enjoy this.

The first half is mostly Todd Alstrom and Greg trying to find the theater (and getting their makeup done) though if you skip ahead, it gets good around the five-minute mark when we see candid moments from the whole cast including Sam Calagione from Dogfish Head.

Ben Stein admits that he hasn’t drank beer since high school.

We also see the uncomfortable moment when Alstrom dismisses Rhonda Kallman’s Moonshot beer on film with Kallman watching.

Funny stuff and I can’t imagine how nervous I would’ve been if I were in their shoes. Thanks to Greg for getting these great behind-the-scene moments on camera.
