Mikkeller Funky E-star, Green Gold are on the horizon
(Copenhagen, DENMARK) – Just got an update from Mikkeller with some info regarding what is shipping next to the U.S.
The nomadic brewer recently got two more label approvals in the U.S.: Green Gold appears to be a straightforward American IPA: Simcoe, Cascade and Amarillo. 7% ABV and it will be available in 330 mL bottles. Mikkel says Funky E-star is like It’s Alive but stronger in alcohol. 9.4% ABV and it will be available in 750 mL bottles.
On the way to the States:
Hoppy Easter
1000 IBU
Funky E-star
Frelser [I'm not sure what this one is]
Green Gold
And after this
Texas Ranger [Not approved yet]
10
All these are not shipped yet but will be within the next month.
Sounds like the final Single Hop Series beer, East Kent Golding, should be in stores sooner than the rest.
