There is a quaint little charming English pub that is hidden away in Woodland Hills on Ventura Blvd, on the quiet end of the street.
The White Harte Pub located at 22456 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills Ca, 91364, is a real pub, a gastropub, worth good food, 18 beers on draft, and lots of bottled beers. Microbrews, and imports, this is the place to enjoy a cold one.
The best thing is there is smoking allowed on the front patio seating, and the back patio is open to smokers after 5pm.
It is not an intimidating place, in fact its a place to frequent, as the waitstaff is friendly and warm and happy to make it a fun pleasant visit for you. What is even better, not only its an evening stop, but the lunch time is fun too...there is free WiFi Internet service for customers. So people can bring the office work to the pub and have a beer and lunch all at the same time....
