It is confirmed that Deschutes the Abyss will be available online for sale soon at both South Bay Drugs and Liquid Solutions. However, it is going to be limited in both cases and Matt Maples of LS has even posted a note on his site explaining that he won’t have as much as he did last year.

As for Firestone Walker Twelve, GOOD LUCK. When I said that The Bruery Autumn Maple was the hottest beer of the season, I think I should probably clarify that I meant the hottest fall seasonal. Twelve is an anniversary beer and is the hottest beer out there PERIOD right now. I haven’t confirmed with either party that it will be available for shipping online as both retailers may reserve the few bottles they get for loyal in-store customers but both South Bay Drugs and new online retailer, Healthy Spirits will have it in stock soon. Otherwise, like me, you can go over to BevMo.com and sign up for an alert if it comes in stock but I am not holding my breath.

Technically, The Bruery Autumn Maple will be available again tomorrow for shipping. It is the ‘hottest’ beer of the season from what I can tell. In addition, you can get both of the newest Alpine releases: BORIS and Ichabod. Joey also has Goose Island Bourbon County Stout in stock which, from what I have read, is superb this year.

I got an email from Rami over at the San Francisco-based Healthy Spirits last week. Why should this matter to you? Because San Francisco is rather close to a little place in Santa Rosa called Russian River Brewing. I haven’t confirmed whether the store will ship this but Russian River Temptation and Beatification are both listed on the site as available by request only. It is worth a call.
