Listermann continues unique styles with Cream Ale, Imperial Malt Liquor

Listermann No. 42 Cream Ale

(Cincinnati, OH) - Following up on my initial report on the brewery’s Mild Ale, Listermann Brewing Supply recently got federal label approval for a cream ale and an imperial malt liquor. According to Owner/Brewmaster, Dan Listermann, the “#42 Cream Ale (see pic below) is finishing fermentation now and will be out when the state approves the label – hopefully shortly.” The 186,000 MPS Malt Liquor will be brewed when the second fermenter comes on line and is projected to be around 10.5%. [Update: Coming Nov. 1st]

(Ponderay, ID) - A Google search for ‘Laughing Dog‘ brings up some unusual image results, and in the end, an eventual visit to Laughing Dog’s website failed to lend any information on this beer. The Idaho brewery’s new imperial stout even has an unlisted ABV as of right now.
